Postes Canada a mis en circulation un timbre afin de souligner le 400e anniversaire de fondation de Port-Royal. Il s'agit de la deuxième émission d'une série consacrée à l'établissement des Français en Amérique du Nord. Le timbre est inspirés du dessin de Samuel de Champlain. Son dessin s'est avéré le point de départ tout indiqué pour la conception d'un timbre reproduisant l'Habitation de Port-Royal.

Canada Post has issued a stamp to mark the 400th anniversary of the founding of Port Royal. This is the second in a series devoted to the settlement of the French in North America. The stamp is inspired by the drawing of Samuel de Champlain. His design proved to be the ideal starting point for the design of a stamp reproducing the Habitation of Port-Royal.
